Honoring Moms with a Meal They Deserve!
Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for all the incredible moms out there. We’re excited to share a wonderfully simple recipe that dads, husbands, or older children can easily whip up to delight that special mom in their lives. This Mother’s Day, why not try the 5-Ingredient Sliced Pork Loin.
This is an adaptation from The Seasoned Mom using Sliced Pork Loin (aka Boneless Pork Chops). It’s a delicious, fuss-free dish sure to impress!
Ingredients:
- Boneless Pork chops
- Apple cider
- Minced garlic
- Fresh rosemary
- Sprig (or two) to thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
Instructions for Grill or Skillet:
- Marinate the pork chops in apple cider, minced garlic, Thyme, and rosemary for at least 12 hours (up to 3 days).
- Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Remove the pork chops from the marinade and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the chops for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F and are beautifully browned.
- Allow the chops to rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Optional: Eat as is or drizzle with your favorite BBQ Sauce.
Sides That Pair Well (credit to The Seasoned Mom):

- Cornbread, Cheddar Biscuits with Chives and Bacon, or dinner rolls
- Grits or mashed potatoes
- Sautéed green beans or cooked collard greens
As we approach Mother’s Day, we recognize that many of our cherished customers are mothers—dedicated women who invest time and effort into selecting the best for their families. These are mothers who prioritize quality and nourishment when filling their shopping baskets, and who teach their children to value and understand food as a cornerstone of health. Your daily choices set a powerful example for the next generation.
But your importance to us extends beyond transactions. You are part of a community united by a deep care for the origins of our food, how it’s cultivated, and its nutritional integrity. Each of you holds a special place in our hearts.
So to all the mothers among us (and ours, Darlene & Johnna), Happy Mother’s Day! May you feel the love and appreciation you so richly deserve today and every day.
